Quick question - Does a Fitbit Blaze reflect mileage while running on a treadmill? Or does it only use GPS and track mileage while running outdoors? I ran 8 miles last night and it only shows .98 miles. But, it does reflect somewhat accurate steps, calories and heart-rate.

While on a tresdmill, GPS is useless, the user is not moving, the ground is.
Fitbit needs to use the standard calculations to take a guess at how far the user virtually ran.
Steps times stride equals distance.
Tske the distance the treadmill says, divide by the steps ran. This will eqial the stride.
Please remember not to hold onto the support rails, this is more for the bodies health than counting steps.
Let the arms swing naturally.
If the speed of the treadmill is changed, so will the stride. If you do change the frequently then use an avverage setting for the stride.
Your stride on the treadmill most likely will not match the stride pn a free run.

PS: use the treadmill iption, not the run.
If you used run eith GPS that would explain the low miles.
