Is it possible to have an altimeter on a Blaze?

Welcome to the forums!

The blaze does floors already. So it does have an altimeter in it

See this article on how it counts them

The Blaze does have an altimeter but, unfortunately, it is not exposed through the UI and does not provide elevation readings.

It is solely used to estimate the floors you climb during the day.

A warm welcome to the Community @Sportif@WendyB and @TheCyberKnight thanks for stopping by.

Regarding your inquiry, yes, the blaze have an altimeter (see attached image). And as suggested by our friend, if you want to learn more about it, you can take a look at the How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity? article.

Degree in percentage? Percentage of what? I don't understand, but through the web you can see the change in altitude but I think this has more to do with the gps connection and not the altimeter which is just a barometer calibrated in feet

Thanks for the clarification @Sportif and @Rich_Laue for stopping by.

I don't think the Blaze would give you the degree in percentage of the hill. As suggested, you can try using GPS but you won't see that. I took the liberty and searched for a request like this but didn't find any. You can visit our feature suggestions board and share your ideas.

Catch you later. Man Happy
