Edit average steps on leaderboard

I had some issues with my phone which meant I had weeks and weeks where I kept having to use an old handset that wouldn't run the fitbit app. It means that I now have months of most days showing zero.

This now means that on the friends leaderboard I'm showing an average step count of 8232, when actually my average is about 12000. It shouldn't bother me, but it does!

Is there anyway to change this without factory resetting / deleting my account and starting again? I don't want to lose all the data I have amassed over the last 2 or 3 years.

Or do I just need to smash my daily step count for the next few months to drag it back up again?

Thanks so much

While you can manually add steps, these steps do not go towards the leader board or challenges.
