Elevator floors counting as flights climbed since upgrade 1-9-17

Since the 1/9/17 update, when I take the elevator around my building it counts as flights of stairs climbed.  Has anyone else experienced this change?

I've been walking around on flat ground all day today and my blaze says I've climbed 11 floors.  Today is the first time I've noticed any issues.  I was also wondering if there is something wrong or if an update needs to occur.

I noticed yesterday as soon as I did the 1/9/17 update.   Yes, I think they need a fix.  Mine could be just walking around too....I just got up to use the restroom, all same floor, flat area...and noticed it added another 5 flights.  Yes, they definitely need to do a fix.

Yes mine counts stairs going down and up an elevator!!! I called support and they told me to reset my tracker and then this reboots it, it counted my elevator ride again today, otherwise it is spot on with flights of stairs in my house.  They said if it happens again I am to replace it from where I got it for another one. I will try again when I go home today and when I come back in tonight.

Yes, I noticed this when we moved into a new building recently at work.  It was the weirdest thing because my blaze did not do that in the old building.  I kept wondering what it was recording, since, I do not usually take stairs at work.  It is the elevator!! LOL  

 

did you do anything to the blaze to make it stop doing that?
