Could fitbit add a screen to the blaze for emergency information?

What type of emergancy are you looking for?
This would require some type of service that is locally addressed, probably more than what Fitbit wants to get into.
I'm registered with www.nixle.us and receive texts with all kinds of info the my local police dept spends out. Sometimes it's an emergency sometimes it's just a report of a road closed. These texts then get sent to the blaze.
Yesterday it was a missing child report.
This is just one of the many services on the web that send out localized updates.

Hi there @klierkay. Welcome to the Fitbit Forums! 🙂
@Rich_Laue, I think @klierkay is referring more to something like information you'd find helpful in case that the person wearing the tracker needs assistance such as blood type, allergies or any first aid medicine that they can not take or who to contact in case of an emergency.
I really think this is a great idea. This feature suggestion is similar, however, not exactly what you're suggesting but if you'd like, you can create a new feature request specifically for the Blaze.
Anything else, let us know!

Hello @klierkay,
My wife watches way too much of the Tour de France, and it subjects me to too many of the same ads.
Among them are the ones for Road Id, they seem to have a product compatible with the Fitbit Blaze. Note: I know nothing else about their product, just what I see on the ads. Do you think this would address your concerns?
