Emergency identity and medical information.

I have seen a lot of people go running with just their tracker and some music. Others go to classes and a workout at the gym but their phones are in bags at the side of the studio or in a locker. A place to store medical information or even something as simple as a person's name can help paramedics in an emergency to identify and assess a person's needs quickly.

A warm welcome to the Community @Serendipity_1.

I think that having an option like this would be great. Please take a look at the Emergency Contact Button or SOS Call request, vote for it and leave your comment.

Keep the stepping up. Smiley Happy

Hi Alejandra, the SOS function is a great idea for those that have an emergency contact they can send it to. I was thinking of something with more adaptability to include not just an emergeny response or a 'find me' request but with access to medical information. Allergies, current medications, known conditions. It would be especially useful for those who may be abroad, travelling alone, running alone, hiking alone etc if they have an emergency medical need and cannot be identified.

Hi, yes I have seen the Road ID's and they are great for this purpose. Apple have actually worked with them to create a band with the faceplate incorporated into it. I'm not sure why Fitbit have not but Road ID do not make faceplates to suit all band widths.
