Exported Steps and Calorie Burn Data Changes

I previously had a thread about seeing past calorie burn data changing.  https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Blaze/Calorie-Burn-Total-Changing-and-Wrong/m-p/1223267#M5646

I have now found that the problem goes beyond that.  Step data and active minutes are now also changing.  I have found changes all the way back to the start of the year (I didn't check before that) but the changes were small.  I am not finding some days that have huge changes.

But, before exporting the data I couldn't really prove it.  Now I can.

On 3/14 I exported data soon after midnight.  Among other things that data exported from Fitbit shows the following:

3/8 – Burned 1501 calories, 2793 steps

3/10 - Burned 1425 calories, 2648 steps

3/11 – Burned 1223 calories, 1348 steps

3/12 – Burned 1408 calories, 5705 steps

3/13 – Burned 1316 calories, 3017 steps

I just exported data on 3/15 for March.  Again, this was on 3/15 after midnight.  In both cases, BTW, I synced my Blaze before exporting.  Some of the data I exported on 3/14 has retroactively changed.  The dates above now show:

3/8 – Burned 1444 calories, 2733 steps

3/10 - Burned 1464 calories, 2777 steps

3/11 – Burned 1350 calories, 1533 steps

3/12 – Burned 1575 calories, 5748 steps

3/13 – Burned 1345 calories, 3046 steps

So the past calorie burn data changed as well as the steps changing!  Also, the active minutes, etc. also correspondingly changed.

The above changes are not huge ones but some examples have been huge. For example, on 2/29 the data retroactively changed to show that I burned 294 more calories and walked an additional 444 steps.

I still have no idea what is going on.  A lot of the retroactive increase in calorie burn is because additional steps have suddenly shown up a few days later.  Note that the change on 3/8 actual showed my step count and calorie burn going down while the others have them going up.  What is weird is that these changes are showing up today.

What is also weird is that changes are being made on more than one occasion.  For example, I do a spreadsheet where I record my calorie burn and steps each day soon after I sync my Fitbit after midnight.

So, for example for 3/10, my spreadsheet (recorded shortly after midnight soon after 3/11 started), I show that I burned 1317 calories, and walked 2648 steps.

On 3/14, I exported the data and it said (as did the dashboard at that time), that I  burned 1425 calories and walked 2648 steps.  So, at that time, my calorie burn for 3/10 had increased by 108 calories but my steps hadn't changed.

Now, on 3/15, the exported data (and the dashboard) say that on 3/10 I burned 1464 calories and walked 2777 steps.  So an addition 39 calories and 129 steps have showed up just since yesterday.

This same type of thing applies to other dates as well.

Oh, I put in a support ticket last night about the changes to past calorie burn data.  I got an entirely useless response explaining that my calorie budget during the data changes based upon activity.  That was useless because I didn't ask anything about calorie budget (I understand entirely how this works).  Apparently the person reading the support email thinks that past calorie burn data is the same thing as the daily calorie budget...

Anyway, this is entirely weird.  Has anyone seen anything like this or have any ideas?  I have not changed my weight as recorded on Fitbit recently so it isn't that.  The only change I have made is to get my Fitbit Blaze (received on 2/26 - I removed my Charge HR from the account so it isn't because of that either).

If a weight change was loved it wpuld change the Charlottetown of past days. This happens because calories, and active minutes are recalculated when drawing the page.

No weight change has been made lately.  So, it isn't that.

Also, many of the things changed retroactively include step counts as well as calorie burn information.
