Factory reset/erase data fitbit blaze

How do you completely factory reset a fitbit blaze. I am letting another individual have my fitbit and need to get it back to factory settings.

You cannot factory reset the Blaze. Only the Charge and Charge HR allowed that. This is not really necessary. Just remove it from your account and let your friend add it to his/her Fitbit account.

You actually don't need to remove it, but it is a good idea, from your account, this will automatically happen when they set it up to their account. 

The reason that you don't need to erase any data is because no data is ever saved on the tracker itself. The data is saved in your Fitbit account. 

While their are a few settings stored in the tracker, these will be overwritten when set to the new account.
