First it starts tracking my walks as elliptical NOW it's erasing my steps!

Seriously ticked right now. I've had my Blaze for 3 years and it's always worked perfectly. In the last three days, it started recording my 45 minute walks (where I get at least 7k steps) as elliptical and NOW it's erasing steps when I try to log in the exercise myself. WTH is going on? Feels like it's some kind of "glitch" pushing me to getting a new device. Ain't gonna happen--I'll go to a different brand. NOT happy. Can someone please help?

Appreciate the suggestion. Yep. Did that. I also restarted it.  Turned it off and on multiple times. Took off every exercise recognized but walking and then it started not tracking my exercise at all. I reduced the minimum number of minutes for walk to be recognized. If a suggestion to fix is on this site, I found it and tried it. This literally just happened a few days ago without me doing anything new to my settings. One day it recorded my walks just fine (just as it had been for over a year), the next, it's not. I think I've got it working well enough that I can work with it, but it just means going in and tracking myself. Second time a FITBIT device has crashed or gone wonky shortly after the two year warranty is up. I'm taking that as a sign and won't be getting another one when I can afford a new device.
