First time setup? wont update! does not even want to charge!

Hi

 

Recently purchased the fitbit, i already want to chuck it on the window but seing that it cost me so much money, i cant. I was really looking forward to this but now ive hit a wall, tried to update it but everytime i did it failed. That got me annoyed abit, i kept trying and now the battery is apprently too low. So im trying to charge it, no battery icon. Now im just dissapointed 😞  im going to charge it for the time the tutorail has stated, 1-2 hours. But guessing from what im seeing on the screen. I dont think it will even charge. Any help?

Leave it in the charger while you update, but are you sure it is a good charger port, and the contacts are lined up? 

You could also try the phones charger.

If your Blaze shows a message of fitbit.com/setup there will not be a charging icon, two hours at the most on the charger will be enough.. The fact that the app reported a low battery is a good sign and tells me everything is working correctly. When I did the setup I left the Blaze in its charger slurring the update.
I would start the app up again and continue with the uodate.

I'm 100% sure that there will be no battery icon unroll after the Blaze is setup and updated.. A simple search of the forums should confirm. 

As for the setup process the app and the blaze apparently has good communication or the app would not have given the warning. 

If a computer is available the update could be done through this. Either with the computers Bluetooth or through its charger connected to a USB port. 

Your Blaze is Ali already connected to your account, but unusable until updated.

I just tired this and it worked till it app recognised that my battery is still too low for an update.
