My fit bit Blaze is starting to take a long time to load info when I sync it to my phone. Not sure if the problem is an older fit bit or the phone. If I get a newer fit bit will I lose the history that my current fit bit contains?

Thanks and have a great day

Hi, @Gray1960! Sorry to hear your tracker is having some issues. You could try all the usual rebooting the device, forgetting it from your bluetooth, etc. Not sure I would recommend deleting it from the account, since sometimes with devices that aren't acting quite right people struggle to get them added back in. However, good news, all your data stay with your account, not your tracker, so anything that has synced already will be there if you choose to upgrade.

Hi @Gray1960  as long as you use the same Fitbit account (email address) and set up as a new device on an existing account, your stats are adding to your history. I've had Fitbits for over seven years and haven't lost any history.
