Perhaps it's worth trying to get it going again first?

 

The best thing to try when a fitbit misbehaves is a restart using the following procedure:

It does no harm and can sort out all sorts of issues. You might need to give it a few tries though as it's known to not always work.

 

If it still doesn't work after that then perhaps customer support is your best bet after all. If they can't fix it then they can let you know what options you have. They can be contacted via:

 

contact.fitbit.com

I lost all interest in Fitbit with the pathetic after sales service of the only option of buying a new Fitbit and no option for repairs 😢
