Here's what's going on with mine. It wasn't showing the HR, only two dashes. I unlinked the device from my account, uninstalled the app, and then I put the Blaze into the charger while it was plugged in. I then did a restart using the left and lower-right buttons for 10 seconds. After that, it showed the HR again - UNTIL, I again linked it to my app!, Then, the HR turned into two dashes again. WTH??

Where are you installing your app, I had a similar problem when I installed
the app in a Kindel pad as the Blaze would not link. Installed the app on
my I phone and it linked just fine, but had to do the two button hold to
get the heart rate monitor going again. Hope you canwork out the problem.

My App is installed on my tablet and also on my mobile phone.
The App works fine on both with my blaze?

How interesting. I am sorry, but this issue has not occurred with my set up
Jogger, and now I am unsure what your issue is?

Yeah, this is more of a fitbit employee problem.

Hello.

I am new to the Fitbit world. My wife got a new Tracker and gave me hers. She said it worked but was having trouble with the HR as it was being intermittent and not recording her sleep.

I have been wearing for the past day and a half and have not had the HR work at all. I have tried the 2-button rest, the shutdown, turning HR off then syncing, then turning HR back on and re-syncing. It seems to be a similar issue as others. Oh, and the two green lights work.

I did speak with two people at customer service, 1 the first night who helped me with clearing out my wife's data. It didn't really work because all of her data is recorded on my first day since it didn't truly clear her info properly when synced to a new account. The other was yesterday who got the HR to go from 2 "--" to "70" and we thought it was fixed. That being said, the Blaze still says 70 but doesn't record any other HR or log it into the app.

Hello,
This has been an ongoing problem with Fitbit...
Many people have had this issue.
If I were you, I would check to see if the device is still under warranty.
Also due to the ongoing issues I would recommend requesting a replacement due to the ongoing issues That have not been resolved by Fitbit. Good luck!

Hi there Macraihdi.

Try letting the battery run completely out of charge, before re charging
the battery fully in 1 hit. The reset process of holding in the single
button simaltaneously with the lower button on the opposite side, is often
the most productive way.

Please keep me updated.

Hi there dusty 306.
If you have tried the 2x button reset process, and still have an issue, the
next step would be to allow the battery to run completely dry before
applying a full, and uninterrupted re-charge to your fitbit.

Before the process mentioned above, just have another go at the 2x button
recharge process, of pressing the Single button and the Bottom of the 2
buttons simaltaneously for aprox 10 seconds.

Please let me know how you get on.

Good luck.

Yes. I did that. And all other forms of reset.

I will let it drain out and try again. May take a couple days. Will keep you posted.

Call customer support, if not fixable then request replacement. The issue
sounds like software problem that Fitbit needs to fix.

I'm having a similar issue with my heart rate monitor on my Blaze:

  • Only one of the 2 green lights appears to be working.

In addition to to the HR monitor issue I also have to charge my battery daily;  when I usually could get 5 days from a single charge.

Any suggestions for a fix?

Hi Jogger.
I recently had an issue with my Blaze.
I allowed the battery to run out completely of charge, left it overnight
before applying a full charge. Please try this action, and let me know how
you get on

Yes I tried the troubleshooting solutions described. Ensured the HR was
turned on in the app and device, as well as restarting Blaze...I still only
have one flashing green light on that back of my Blaze.
