FitBit Blaze and iPod Nano 7th generation

Are there any plans to allow Bluetooth connectivity from the Blaze to the iPod Nano 7th generation? I am a little frustrated that even though my Nano has Bluetooth, it will not connect to my Blaze to allow for music controls.  😞

yes

when Apple will allow other firms to install apps on the iPod

No, it wouldn't work; you need the app and the Nano doesn't use apps.

I use my Blaze with my iPod Touch 6th Gen. and it works fine.

Ok that is bizarre, my Bluetooth headphones can control music playback on iPod nano but Blaze can't? This has become a basic Bluetooth feature, it's a Fitbit problem not an iPod problem.

Does the Blaze control the music with the headphones disconnected? I'll assume you have paired the BT Classic

Sadly, when I did a search on iPod nano 7th in features, I found it has already been declined.  Too bad - this would make life sooo much easier 😞

Thanks for the information @v1ct0rialynn and don't worry, I recommend placing the suggestion one more time on our feature request board as suggested, vote for it and leave your comments.  I hope this can be implemented soon on our list of compatible mobile devices.

Catch you later. Woman Happy

I read that the Blaze pairs with AVRCP and iPod Nano 7th Gen supports AVRCP for controlling playback on Bluetooth devices. I had assumed that should pair them but after I got the Nano, tested, it didn't work. A real bummer indeed.
