Hello Fitbit Moderators:
Would you please be able to assist me with my Fitbit App? Using both types of platforms, PC as well as Android, the App seems to be duplicating my food entries and calories. For example, it will show a chicken breast with calories, but it doubles both, as if I've eaten two chicken pieces.
My FitBit Blaze device says it's using version 17.8.200.3 (firmware). However, my FitBit App says my Blaze is using version 8.200.3. Are these the same versions?
Also, my FitBit App (software) is using version 2.10.568.
I appreciate any help that you can offer!
Sincerely,
Johnny

Hey @JohnnyFit, couple things here:
1) Yes, your Blaze is on the latest version (17.8.200.3)
2) 2.10.568 is the current version of the Fitbit app for Windows, what about your Android device?
I'd make sure your Fitbit app for Android is up to date, clear cache/cookies for the app, log out and log back in.
Hope that helps. 🙂

All of that went straight over my head - don't understand apps or droids, never have, and don't own a smart phone, think I'd be a danger to my own inteligence with one of those. 🙂
All my Fitbit entries are done on PC (Windows 10) and have the same problem - enter an item of food and it appears in the meal selected ..... after a couple of seconds a duplicate entry pops in and the calorie count doubles.
This was happening intermittently weeks/months ago, then stopped for ages, but the last few days it is pretty much a permanent 'feature' - I can right-click one of the entries and 'delete' but it is a bit annoying.
Only other thing is that it doesn't seem to be always an error for the first item entered for a meal, but all subsequent item entries are duplicated.

Forgot to mention - same problem, but I'm using a Charge. 🙂

Hi @AndrewFitbit:
Thanks, but that has not solved the issue. I still have the problem, even when I use the web based dashboard to input my entries.
The only thing that I can think of is that about one week ago, I connected (synced) Fitbit with MyFitnessPal, through your internet dash board method. I allowed permissions between both programs. Strangely enough, after the permissions were granted, the programs would NOT work together properly.
I read the Fitbit community forums to find that I was not alone with this problem. Furthermore, my food entries started to double on Fitbit, but did NOT show up on MyFitnessPal. As such, I removed the permissions -- disconnected the two programs -- but I still have the problem with the double food entries. What's more, for some very, very, odd reason MyFitnessPal informs me that I have logged for nine consecutive days, yet it does not show any food or calories at all!
Something is very wrong here....
I would appreciate a quick solution to this problem please. Otherwise, I may just return my Fitbit Blaze and go use another brand and product entirely.

I am having the very same frustrating problem with my Blaze - when entering my menu items. It accepts the entry after clicking the check mark and onece it pops into the list of items for the day it duplicates the entry. Very frustrating and a waste of my time going through each entry and removing it! Is there something I am doing wrong or is this an app glitch! My Blaze version is fully up to date!

I have the same thing occurring with some, but not all, food entries on Windows 10 Dashboard Version 2.10.572. I don't use a smart phone app. It has been occuring for about 2 weeks. I actually have an Alta, not a Blaze.

BUMP
I have the same problem. Using Charge 2 and Android app. On the desktop everything is fine but in the app some, but not all, entries are doubled.

Updating my earlier comments - everything is now working fine.
I didn't do anything, honest, the error just stopped happening?
I presumed some clever geek found the 'issue' and solved the 'problem' .....
..... or they stopped the cleaners unplugging the server so they could plug in the vacuum cleaner?

I logged out and in on my android device and it seemed to have worked. No more double entries.
Fingers crossed!
