What are they for? They only seem to work for increasing or decreasing music volume?

Hello @applefit, @SunsetRunner, @ChaneRZ and @Rich_Laue It's great to have you here! 🙂 @applefit They are action and select buttons as shown on the next image:
And as @SunsetRunner mentioned it depends on what screen you are on, for example if you are on Exercise mode, when you tap on Workout you can start the workout by pressing the select button, then you can pause the activity if you press it again. @ChaneRZ and @Rich_Laue thanks for your amazing cooperation! Also I just want to add to make sure the tracker is properly inserted on the frame.
I'll be around if you have any question! 🙂

Hello @austincattledog welcome to the Fitbit Community! 😉 Currenlty turning off the select button during exercise is not an option, I noticed you already shared your idea in the Feature Request board, this is the best place to make your voice heard 🙂

Hey! Just got my blaze last night and I'm learning a lot, but I see in some comments people are mentioning "music"..... Is there a way to listen to my Spotify account through the phone? I don't see a spot for headphones.... Lol..... Please tell me what is being referred to referring "music".
Thank you
JD

The easiest way to find out @JoeyDiablo is to open your Fitbit app, tap the Blaze icon in the top corner, now tap the Blaze in the list.
Scroll down to the bottom under helo, tap Music control (learn how to setup music control)

Ran into this problem at the gym with the apple watch too when I had one of those. Ended up wearing it backwards or on my inside artist when lifting. The heartbeat monitor still worked. Have tried the blaze yet though. I imagine I'll probably have to do th same.

It's great to have you here @Solarm! Can you provide me with more details about the issue that you're having? In case, you're experiencing trouble setting up music control then follow this procedure.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted.
