I know there is a feature suggestion page for these features but I dont think Fitbit understands how necessary it is for these features to come to the Blaze.
The Charge 2 offers Cardio Fitness levels (VO2 Max), Guided Breathing, and Interval Training features.
These features are very good and very welcomed features to the Fitbit lineup. The problem is that they have not mentioned any sort of updates or word on whether the Blaze would receive one or all of these updates.
I may be wrong with saying this, but it seems that all of these features are software updates only and not relying on hardware. That being said Fitbit should be able to technically create the update for the Blaze hardware in order to activate these features.
The Cardio Fitness Score is basically taking your RHR, weight, age and other personal stats into consideration to determine your score. The Blaze can determine RHR and the other stats are all input personally. There should be no reason this cant be added to the Blaze in a future update.
The Guided Breathing again uses HR to provide guided breathing to the user. Based on the HR detected the Charge 2 will tell you when to inhale and exhale to help lower the HR. Seems again like a feature the Blaze has the hardware to provide, just a software update to implement it.
Finally the Interval Training mode. This is extremely useful for many people as interval training of all sorts are really becoming a popular form of exercise. Whether its interval running, or HIIT workouts. This feature uses pre-set interval times set on the Fitbit App. This should be implemented in the Blaze without much of an issue as the Blaze already can communicate with the app to input Alarms. I am sure Fitbit can figure out a way to implement the interval settings required for interval workouts.
The Blaze is the higher end model compared to the Charge 2 and is still quite a new device. We saw a recent, fairly large update with new clocks and reminders to move and 3rd party notifications, but the next update should be focused on fitness stats.
Please provide further information regarding these features and whether or not they are able to be implemented in the Blaze and if there is any plan to do so in the future. We Blaze users are asking for these features and they would be a VERY welcome upgrade.
Anything Fitbit you can provide regarding these upgrades to the Blaze would be great for us to know.

@markp88 iI'll start by commenting on your last question, generally Fitbit does not comment on future releases of features or hardware. This also will explain why fitbit hasn't mentioned any uodates, ifor n general they don't do this The Fitbit developers generally monitor the Feature Request forum for users ideas.
I'm not sure why these features must be added, you explain why the Blaze should be able to have these features, but not why they should be added. One thing i can point out is the hardware on the Blaze might be 6 months older, not knowing enough about the hardware, this might not be a factor.
While the Blaze is assigned a higher rank then the Charge 2 it was also released 6 months earlier. .

Thanks for the reply here.
These features should be added because they provide extremely valuable fitness functions to the end user. Cardio Fitness Levels indicate how healthy the user is. Guided breathing will help people reduce stress and stay calm during the day and after workouts. Finally the Interval training mode provides incredible fitness functionality to the user. Interval workouts can be for running programs or high intensity interval training programs, both which are very popular.
Ultimately the high end product is only 6 months older which is not that much older in terms of their releases and technology. The issue is that they alienate their userbase by not providing the feature sets among all products that can support them. Of course the lower models like the Flex and the more general everyday trackers shouldn't receive these updates as they are meant for a different user, but the higher end activity trackers like the Charge 2 and Blaze should be on par with their offerings.
The only reason I see them to not bother with upgrading the Blaze with these features is if they are planning on releasing a Blaze 2 in the near future. This may be a possibility as there are rumours Fitbit is or has purchased Pebble Smartwatch company, which means they may create a new smartwatch.
Either way I think the features would benefit a very large number of users and thats why they should implement them on the Blaze.

Yes I did add my votes there, I know thats really all we can do.
Just hoping to maybe get Fitbit to notice that there are a lot of people really wanting these new features on the Blaze.

I have to agree here - the Blaze is supposed to be a higher end device. It just doesn't make good business sense that a new lower priced device would be released with these feature and not added to the higher priced device <even if it is a "few" months older". Otherwise - what is the point of spending the extra $$$ on the higher end device?

I also want the Charge 2 breathe feature on the Blaze. If I have to purchase multiple Fitbits to get the features I want -no way!!
