I am the type of person that turns his fitbit blaze off before going to bed. I like to conserve battery life and I get 7 days before needing a charge by doing this.
Pre: "New Watch Faces Update" (two updates ago) - If I turned off my watch at 10:00 PM and I woke up at 6:00 AM. My watch would show that it is 6:00 AM on said day when I turn it on.
Post: "New Watch Faces Update" - If I turned off my watch at 10:00 PM and I woke up at 6:00 AM. The watch would show that its 10:00 PM on the previous day when I turn it on.
I hate the fact that I am forced to synch every morning just to get the correct time and steps (etc) information. I don't have the best smart phone and sometimes I have to restart it 2-3 times just to get it to sync to my watch to obtain the correct time. My time (like most people) is very valubable in the mornings and I don't have time for this. Could you please look into this problem and fix it. I would appreciate it.

I'm afraid that the need to sync to reset the time after a shutdown is normal behaviour and is not considered a problem to be fixed. See the following help file for more details:

It is not considered "normal behavior" if a patch broke something that was previously considered normal behavior. This isn't worth the 220 dollars I spent on this watch. Could you please provide me the customer service number so that I can talk to somebody about this. Thanks

Why do you switch it off? There is no need for it. After putting it on the table, the HR ist switched off. So switching the device off doesn't save much battery.

I want to switch it off because when I don't I get about 5 days max battery life. When I do, I get 7 days. I waste about 10 minutes each morning trying to resync it to my phone. I really hate it. I hate it when companies tinkering with their product too much, stuff like this happens. I'm even more disturbed that tech support says this is "not a problem" and this is the new norm. Oh well...that is life...

Well then don't turn it off.
Every other or 3rd day through it on the charge while in the shower.
A lithium battery works best if it never gets a charge above 80% or under 30%
