Fitbit Blaze and Rowing

I am loving my Fitbit Blaze, never leave home without it!!!... I'm quite active and do a rang of activities most are able to be captured by Fitbit, but my most popular activity is Rowing (in a scull crew) and it would be great to be able to select 'Rowing' as part of my 'favourite' exercises to chose from.  Is this possible?  At the moment i do set it as Workout, then change, once synced to 'Rowing'.

A warm welcome to the Community @Mazzak. I think it would be great to have more exercise options. I recommend checking the SmartTrack - Rowing request, vote for it and leave your comment. 

In the meantime, keep in mind that you can create this activity by doing the following from a computer:

1. Go to http://www.fitbit.com/activities to see your activity log. Start typing in the search box under 'Log Activities".
2. Enter any physical activity you find yourself doing often.
3. After adding the activity, there will be the option to customize the activity via duration, distance (if applicable) start time and calories.

Thanks for your response Alejandra, i've taken your advice and voted and logged my Rowing as a favourite activity.

I have to say I'm disappointed by this.  I'm coming from the Microsoft Band 2, but with its discontinuation and the appearance of a tear in the band I know I need a new tracker in the next few weeks.  The Band was able to track rowing automatically, directly from my device, and the algorithms were usually ±10 calories from my Erg. I'll vote in the linked poll, but this might knock the Blaze out of the lead for me.

I too voted for the Rowing Machine smart app.... hope they're listening. ...I am loving my Blaze.
