Fitbit Blaze battery short life

My battery drains in less than four hours where it used to take four days or more. This happened firstly post an app update. It is now obvious that you have a battery integrity issue or the app caused some bug that placed issues in the battery functionality due to too many syncs. I have read every tip and made every change you suggested. However at this stage the batters Love u drains no matter what I do. Will you do a product recall and accept you have a flaw?

Question, My Blaze just started having this issue. Last week it worked fine, this week the charge lasts about 4 hours. How do I contact support?

I have only been able to get support through the community channel. I found
if your devices is more than 12 months old they may give you a discount on
a new device but that is all.

Hi, you can telephone or web chat with support at the following link https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs (if the link does not work, you can find them at the bottom of the webpage after you select your device on the Fitbit help webpage, I missed it too)

They are really helpful with a 2 year warranty within the EU 1 year outside of the EU, my issue was resolved in less than ten minutes via the web chat option, the customer support person was very helpful and courteous to me and offered replacement or discount, I received my replacement 2 days later.

Hi there guys, good to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

@OldWalt, I'm sorry to hear that. At the moment, there's not much else that I can offer from my end 😕 If you'd like to take advantage of the discount, feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to help you out!

@Raymond_ledwardI can recommend putting your tracker to charge and once it's fully charged, take it off the charger and put it on. Sync it and use it as you would normally do. Make sure to sync it frequently after this (every one or two hours at least) so that the battery levels are recorded on the app logs and once the battery dies, let me know so that I can take a closer look and then we can move forward with other options to get you back on track.

I'll be looking forward for your reply and if you guys need anything else, I'm here to help!

I am being shipped a new one as mine is still within its two year guarantee. Any EU purchased Fitbit has a two year guarantee.

I am delighted to report that my Blaze Fitbit has been replaced - being less than 1 year old - and the new one is working perfectly and has been for over a week now.  Very happy again.  Thank you FITBIT!

I've had my Blaze for just over 2 years and have only recently had issues with the battery life.  I'm down to charging it every 2 days now too.  Is that the norm?

I’m not sure as I had mine replaced at 13 months and get 4-6 days dependant on useage. There are many factors that can affect battery life and natural degradation is also one, I am always believe in leaving any battery until almost dead before a recharge which is best practice and will assist in ensuring you get the full operation life out of your batteries (phone, tablet, laptop and watches). The issue with mine and warranty replacement was a fault, the battery life changed overnight went straight from 4-5 days to 1 day.
