Fitbit Blaze is losing/deleting steps and my active minutes and calories are WAY too high

I have a Fitbit Blaze. I've had it for about 3 months and it works great. Love it.

Last night and today it has acted really, really weird. It is deleting steps I had 6K, it went back to 1600. I went up to 2.5K, it went back to 1610. I walked more to 3K and it went back to 1600.

Also, it has shown me burnign the maximum amount of calories per 15 minute interval since I was asleep. Not possible for calorie burn or for active minutes.

I have looked on the boards, Googled and everthing just says to "reset it and see if that corrects the issue." But now my stats are not counting my steps, and show me with 8K calories burned and 750 active minutes.

How can I get this corrected? Thanks.

For instance, both my watch and (now) synced dashboard show this, the steps are reset to 1610, but my calorie and active minutes (and now how much i should eat, based on my activity) are all astronomical. I've reset it twice. Any thoughts:fitbit issue.PNG

Or the steps just disappearing from The Blaze, or do they disappear during a sync of the tracker? Do you have more than one fitbit tracker connected to your account?

It was during the sync of the blaze. No other trackers connected, just the Blaze.

It isn't doing it now that I have done the following:

  • Reset the Blaze (I held down the left and right bottom until the fitbit logo came on and it reset.)
  • Deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled the app.
  • Synced.

To get my steps back right, I used my phone's samsumg step counter and entered my steps. Those are fine now. And they have not reset or lost any since then.

But, my calories burned and active minutes are just so high. Any way to get them off or back down?
