Fitbit Blaze isn't adding calories burnt in workouts to total daily calorie burn

Hi All,

So basically I just got my fitbit blaze and it is tracking exercises fine (cycling and running). However although it tells me in the weekly exercise summary how many calories I have burned in each workout it is not adding this to my total daily calories burnt! This is a major issue, as obviously this alters the amount of calories I can consume in a day and is one of the main reasons I got a fitbit..

My daily 'calories out' under the food section only include my BMR not any additional calories burn from workouts recorded by the tracker 😕

Thanks in advance!

If what your saying is true @aevanss05 every day will have the same caloric burn as shown on days before you had a Fitbit. Is this what you see?

Do you mean as in the calories burnt is the same as before I started wearing the tracker? I believe it is adjusting according to my steps, but let's say I track a run and it estimates I have burnt 350 cals on that run - my total calories burnt for the day does not increase by 350, it just slowly increases throughout the day the same way it would if I did not do a run.

If your activity steps are being added to the daily total, so should the calories v

Try this, write down the calories in the tracker before the run. Then record the calories the run info says. Stop the tracker and write down the calories. What are they.

I have to go and do my own testing.
