Fitbit Blaze jumped over 25K steps with no movement

I am in bed and all of a sudden I feel my Fitbit Blaze buzzing because I did over 25,000 steps.  How can that be when I am not even waking.  I can't get it to the right number of steps.  I tried turning off and on and nothing helps. It is not low as I charged it the day before. I am going to call customer service.
