Fitbit Blaze not charging

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I completed a weekly challenge synced and went to bed. When I got up I went to charge my blaze but it wouldn’t charge. I’ve looked at the back of my blaze and I think the contacts have worn over time, is this common? I started using it 16.5.16. Can the contacts be replaced?

Hi there @Kr15nwt! Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems getting your Blaze to charge correctly. I'd like to help you out with this.

If you notice any deterioration on the contacts of your Blaze, it could only be that they are dirty. You can use a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol to clean them and then, put it to charge and see if that makes any difference.

If that doesn't work, feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to look for other alternatives for you.

I cleaned the contacts and bought a new charger. My blaze has turned backed on but the battery will not charge properly now. This has never been an issue before, but now no matter how long it’s charging for it won’t charge past a low battery. I do not know why this is happening.

Ok that stopped working, it won’t charge anymore. When it charged it wouldn’t go past 1/4 of the battery and now it just won’t charge anymore.

From looking into the posts on here relating to the Blazes battery life, I’m assuming my Blaze battery has run its course and died completely.

Ive had it working fine 2 years 7 month, 4-5 days a charge and then charging it up again but that stopped the past month. Tried cleaning it and different charger but now nothing works. Got it to turn on for one last sync and charge attempt but that was it.
