Fitbit Blaze not connecting to Bluetooth while inside the house

So I was having issue with the blaze not connecting via bluetooth, I went out that evening and suddenly it connected and it was fine again. I have now found that my blaze will no longer connect via bluetooth in the house. Nothing has changed in my house, there's no new tech to get in the way it will just no longer connect while I'm in the house. I have to go outside into the back garden to get it to connect. I'll have to contact Fitbit tomorrow to sort this out but has anyone else experienced this? It literally came out of nowhere. My Mum's connect's fine to her phone in the house, no issue's at all so I can only assume this is down to my own device (yes I even tried to sync mine via app login on her phone and nothing)

To say this is odd is an understatement!

Hi there @captainpixie, good to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm very sorry to hear that your Blaze will not connect while you're at your house. It sounds pretty strange. Thanks a lot for what you've already tried to get it to work!

I can probably recommend removing your tracker from your connected Bluetooth devices on your phone and then, to set up your tracker as a new device. Just make sure to sync it first to avoid losing any unsynced information.

For this, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone. On your connected devices, look for your tracker. Tap on it, then choose the option that says "Forget this device". Then, proceed to set up your tracker as a new device.

For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Let me know if you need more help with this!

Hi, I had already tried that BUT ...

Feel free to have a chuckle at this ...

I found out what the issue was.

My iPod! yup, my iPod which has been sat under the three books I'm currently reading (yeah I read more than one book at a time, short attention span and it works well for me) I'd been looking for my iPod for a while, but yes, it was my iPod, which I hadn't turned off, which still had it's bluetooth switched on. soon as I turned it off, the blaze was syncing.

I, feel like a right prat. I'd turned everything off that I could think of and it was the iPod hidden under the book stake that was causing the issue. I really do feel like a right muppet.

Thank you for all the advice and tip's, I've actually saved everything in a PDF doc on my computer so I can find all the suggestions more easily if there's a next time. (I'm dyslexic so it can be really frustrating trying to follow instructions and tech stuff because it takes me twice as long to get thru it all) but yes, thank you everyone 🙂
