Fitbit Blaze not pairing with iPhone 6

I’m trying to setup my Fitbit Blaze for the very first time and my iPhone 6 is just not able to find it! However on my other phone (Nexus 5X) I can see my Blaze when I switch on its Bluetooth!

 

I've tried all the troubleshooting steps mention on the Fitbit forums:

- turned off Bluetooth on iPhone 6 and turned it on after 10 secs 

- restarted my tracker

-  Fitbit Blaze occasionally teases me with code and then gets stuck on “Pairing” screen. After killing the app and restarting it shows it’s paired but I see nothing on its screen other than setup page.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. I would like to know if you keep having issues pairing your Blaze with your iPhone? If you do, please provide me with a screenshot of the error you are seeing and make sure you are doing the following from your Fitbit app:

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
