Fitbit Blaze not powering on, but comes on while charging

Hi

 

Not sure if anyone else has experienced the same problem, but my Blaze watch doesn't power on while it's in it's wrist strap.

 

The iPhone app will naturally keep searching for the device.

 

The Blaze does power on momentarily while its in it's charging cradle.  While it's on however, I'm unable to swipe from the right hand side of the Blaze screen to the left to access the exercises or any of the menus.

 

After approx 15-30secs the Blaze will restart by itself.  While it's on for a few seconds the iPhone app is able to establish a Bluetooth connection to the Blaze, but again, the Blaze restarts every 15-30secs.

 

The firmware version on the Blaze is 8.402.1

I've been experiencing the same problem for a few days now. Before this issue the battery was draining exceptionally fast.

Like many others, it appears to be a problem. My blaze of 2 years has finally failed on me with this recent issue. It only turns on when its on the dock, and wouldn't function when removed from the charging dock. I was thinking of upgrading my Blaze, but with this recent issue encountered by many, I think I will start looking at other products that are not Fitbit.
