Fitbit Blaze not recording heart rate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Blaze is not recording my heart rate and the led sensors are not working.

I have reset the device and the Heart Rate monitoring is ON in settings.

Any other suggestions please?

My Blaze heart rate monitor just stopped working and "customer support" provided no help whatsoever. My watch was outside of the warranty (by literally a week), so the "best" they could offer me was 25% off a new Fitbit, but ONLY if I buy a new one in the next 30 days. And since the heart rate monitor is busted, many of the other features now don't work either -- the sleep tracking, heath reports, auto recognizing activity, and clearly the calories burn. I basically have a $200 pedometer now. I will NOT be buying another FitBit. When I originally ordered this Blaze, it didn't work right out of the box, and FitBit replaced it because it literally wouldn't even turn on. That should have been a sign that many of these watches are faulty, and some are just crap. I have never been able to get the heart rate working again, sorry.

Welcome to the Community @Jova54. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.

Make sure your device is positioned correctly on your wrist:

  • Tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist. For more information, see How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
  • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. For best results, use the wristband that came with your device.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback.

I have had my Fitbit for more than 2 years and it has worked fine up until
now.

The main problem is the sensor leds are not lighting up so I reckon they
are either faulty or the device needs a reset.

I have tried resetting from the Settings option but this has had no effect.

Is there anything else I can do?

Thank you
