Fitbit Blaze not turning on out of the charger

I just unwrapped a fitbit blaze and downloaded the app for IOS. It set up and when its in the charger it turns on and connects via bluetooth.  Once I take it out of the charger it just stays black.  No lights or anything.  I have charged it to full charge and have tried to reset it multiple times.  I get nothing but a black screen.  This thing has only been out of the box for about 8 hours.  Please let me know what Im doing wrong and how to get it on without it being in the charger.

I'm very sorry to hear that you're having problems getting your Blaze to turn on out of the charger. thanks a lot for all you've tried to get it to work!
