Hi. I'm new using a blaze. I'm having trouble with the distance and pace not being correct for runs and walks. I run/walk the same route. I have used Map My Run for several years. It always comes back with the distance at 2.56 miles. I have now b=gone on the same route runnign and walking with my Blaze. I have started teha ctivity from the app for my run and from the Blaze for my walk(After starting the app and connecting to the Blaze). My run was measured at 2,32 miles and my walk at 1.92 miles for the same route. Both not correct. My phone location services are turned on.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? I bought the Blaze primarily to see my heart rate (Works great) and pace (Not so much) without having to pull out my phone.
Appreciate any assistance,

One of the things that might be helpful for this is to update your walking and running stride length. This will allow Fitbit to better calculate the distance you've walked/run based on your steps.
You can set this either from the Fitbit app on your phone, or through the website here.
I'm assuming that if you use the connected GPS function before starting your walk/run will also help, but as I've never used this feature, I cannot say for sure.

wGlenn,
Thanks for the input. Both stride length and GPS were set an on so that's not the answer in this case. Then phone, GPS and stride length settings are the same for all the distance measurements and timings.

@Likestoplay2 first thing I would do is increase the run stride by 1.103 and your walk stride by 1.333
Alternatively set the run stride to zero and let Fitbit do the stride calculation using the GPS.
