How can this be correct?
If the watch says my heart rate goes into the 40's when im sleeping and goes up to around 80 max throughout the day, how am i burning enough calories to reach the 2,000 calorie goal everyday, exerting zero energy into physical activity. The most intense workout i do is walking throughout the day... I have a desk job where i am sitting for 7+ hours a day.
TLDR: has your expierence with the blazes tracking been correct so far?
specificially the heart rate monitor and calorie tracking?
~maybe im just weird.

Those figures might be ok depending on how big you are.
As well as tracking calories you burn through activity, your fitbit also tracks your BMR calories. These are the calories you burn just keeping your body alive (even when asleep). They are calculated from your profile settings (age, weight etc) so you needn't be wearing your fitbit to get them. What you are seeing is the total BMR calories since midnight. There's more information on this here:

So, even when sitting at your desk you are exerting energy just keeping your body alive. If I were at a desk all day then I'd burn around 1500 calories but I am quite small.
