You can do as @Driver8666 says. This is an effective way of making sure your tracker will not keep logging heart rate when not on and also this will help you save battery. Something else that you can do is restarting your tracker by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-15 seconds. This will reboot your tracker and after that you can see how it goes.
