I have recently upgraded from a fitbit charge HR to a fitbit blaze, and I'm loving it! I love that there is an "alarm" area for us to turn the silent alarms on & off on the watch itself (after adding them with the app).
But there is one thing that I have noticed. When I turn the alarm on from the watch, it doesn't go off at all! But when I sync the Blaze with the app, and turn the alarm on from inside the app, it works?
I was wondering if this is a known issue, or am i doing something wrong?

Welcome to the Community @Zigzagoon! Currently, you can delete the alarm just from the Fitbit app or online Dashboard. When your alarm vibrates in your Blaze you have the option to dismiss it otherwise it will repeat the vibration. If you tap the little bell that's on your screen it will just dismiss the alarm but not deleting it from the account.
Hope this clarifies any doubt. Keep enjoying your Fitbit Blaze.

Unfortunately this does not answer my question.
The question / issue that I have is that the area on the watch itself for the alarms has buttons (on / off) beside the pre-set alarm (the ones that I have created in the app).
I turned an alarm "on" through my wacth (and NOT my app) by pressing the button turning it from "off" (red bell) to "on" (green bell). After making sure it was set to "on", the alarm / vibration itself didn't go off at all (during the specific time it was set to go off), even though the button is switched to "on" when I looked at the watch area for the silent alarms.
It seems that the only way the alarm goes off would be to open the app, sync the fitbit, then turn on the alarm in the "Silent Alarms" section in the app.
I was wondering if this is a known issue for some users? As in others can turn on their alarms from the watch, and I am doing something wrong / something is malfunctioning in the watch or software.
Or if this is normal, and I can not set the alarm to "on" in the watch, but instead have to use the app to turn "on" or "off" any alarms that I want.

Has anyone else found this to be an issue? Am I the only one?

I second this issue. I only tried to use the alarm twice - the first time worked, and the second time didn't. I was glad I had set my cell phone to go off, too, otherwise I would have been late for work.
