Fitbit Blaze switching off during exercise

My Fitbit switches off when I put my boxing gloves on and start punching. It is really annoying me. I turn it around to wear the face on the inside of my wrist when holding a kick shield and this has stopped it dropping off due to the pin becoming detached but I cannot solve the problem of the boxing gloves switching it off. Any advice welcome

I had the same thing happen during outdoor biking.  I think my biking gloves depressed the lower right hand button and turned it off.  Is there a way to not have these buttons active?

No that is why you're encouraged to vote for a way to lock the screen controld.

Take a moment to vote for the idea: Touch screen lock for Blaze don't forget to add your comments. The more vote it gets it has more opportunities to be noticed by our developers.
