I have constantly had my new fitbit blaze on charge (3hrs approx). But as soon as I remove it from the charging cradle the battery goes to critically low and then the screen goes blank and will not come back on. If I place the fitbit back into the charge cradle the fitbit shows full battery and works again. I have carried out a reset by pressing the side and lower buttons, tried different charging plugs, left it for a longer charge, selected shutdown in the settings menu whilst it was in the charging cradle and after searching google I have found this is a common fault. I have purchased this fitbit direct from fitbit.com. Can anyone suggest any other solutions before I return the fitbit and buy a Garmin vivosport?

Hi. I have exactly the same issue. Started yesterday. Switched off during the day for no reason but when I tried to charge it there were only the red bars on the battery charging symbol. Took hours to finally get a green full battery. Wore it over night and it was off in the morning and the battery was flat. I've emailed support as well. Hopefully something can be done to fix it.
