@FerdinandFitbit I have the same issue you had to escalate a in December:

My Blaze will not charge, I have cleaned the contacts on the back of the Blaze and in the charging unit but my Blaze will still not charge,. Looking at the contacts they seem to have holes in them, is this normal?? I have a picture but am unable to attach it. Please can someone help.

@Edawg Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your Blaze isn't charging and thank you for cleaning the contacts on the device. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol (also clean the charger contacts) then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes!

I did all of that. Tried multiple chargers that worked on another blaze. Cleaned the contacts, sanded them, cleaned the chargers, changed the battery, nothing. Its those contacts on the blazer itself that dont work. Can I solder them to add to the contacts?

I found out that it is the charge case. My blaze is only 6,months old and it wasn't charging so I called Fitbit.

1. Here I'd what the agent told me to do

2 clean your contacts on both the battery and the charging cage with a q-tip and alcohol, let dry and then put battery in charger. IT WORKS.

3. If that doesn't work call the help number. They were very friendly. Stayed with me until it worked.

Thank you both for your time, thoughtfulness, and advise. I still suspect its the physical hardware on the contacts that are failing, as theyre dimpled while the working ones arent as worn, but I will try the listed options (again) and update. Best regards.
