Fitbit Blaze won't pair with Samsung galaxy S6

It was all paired but I unpaired it and restarted both devices in a bid to get my notifications working on the blaze and now the blaze is rejecting my S6 request to pair....

Ok I have resolved it by following instructions for S7 etc etc.

But I still can't get my notifications like text message on my blaze.

I wonder if it's because I haven't really been that far away from my phone when a text has come in so far?

Is the settings in the app correct! 

Can you receive a test message, click the gear in top right from notifications settongs. 

Swipe up on the Blaze clock Face, is notifacations turned on? 

Go into the phones sound settings and make sure that Show on lock screen is enabled. 

Finally I had to restart my phone this morning.

All of that seems to be in order so I'm not really sure what else to do.

Maybe just not to worry about getting text notifications on my fitbit when I have a phone for that!

Mine showed all in order this morning, not sending texts. I rebooted the phone and as it powered my Charge HR(1), Blaze(3), and the Charge 2(3) all received the test messages I requested before the restarr.
