Fitbit Blaze wont turn on when I put it in the wristband

I have just received my Fitbit Blaze and i have set it up all while it has been in the charger and it turns on and works fine will placed in this.  Once I take it out and put it into the wristband I cannot get it to turn on.......really keen to start using it so appreciate anyones feedback on how to resolve this issue

I am only saying this as I have done it a few times. But make sure you have put it in the frame correctly

The buttons must match.

When you have it in the wristband and you turn your wrist, does it light up or it remains off?

Other than that, if it does light up when turned, I will agree with what @WendyB says and you just need to make sure that the buttons on the tracker are aligned with the buttons on the wristband and it should work well from there.

Hi I tried multiple times and have it lined up perfectly and it still wont come on.  I also noted that it only seems to work when its in the charger and the charger is plugged in.
