Fitbit app won't connect to facebook

I've tried to connect to Facebook through both my desktop app and my mobile (android) app and neither will work. When I try to connect to my desktop app it says:

Not logged in. You are not logged in. Please log in and try again.

 

When I try to connect via mobile, I just get:

Network operation failed

No network connection. Please check your settings.

 

And that is after I approve the permissions for Facebook.

 

I've been trying this for weeks and it never works.

Have you tried doing it through the web? It just worked for me.

On your desktop, and go to fitbit.com and Facebook.com are both sites logged in.

I assume the message is reffeerimg to Facebook,  is this correct?

 

On the app, is the no network before or after the web browser opens? Wpuld it be possible itto post a screen shot.

I'm using the windows 10 app on my computer and both that app and my facebook app are logged in.
