Fitbit blaze heart rate monitor not working

My Blaze's heart rate monitor does not display my heart rate anymore. The green light still works and, strangely, when I take the tracker off my wrist it displays a heart rate. When I put the tracker back on the heart rate displays

"--" I have cleaned it, rebooted it, shut it down, synced it countless times in the app and it still doesn't display my heart rate. When I do a workout it doesn't display my heart rate. I changed the setting from "auto" to "on" and it displayed my heart rate incorrectly. It said my heart rate was 115 beats/min for the entire day and that was on my lazy day off where I didn't do much. Is there any solution to this that I haven't already tried? Thank you.

It's great to welcome you @Msaulet, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.

 

It sounds that you have already tried all troubleshoot possible and since those steps didn't work, I recommend keeping an eye on your inbox for further instructions.
