So I'll start the run and everything would be fine. I'd check my pace and my time towards beginning of the run of everything would be great. And then sometime in the middle of the run I would check again and find it back at the clock face. And when I go home and check on my phone it would have only measured part of my run. This is either being connected to my phone or not connected it doesn't matter. And this most recent run I went for an 1hr and half but it only recorded the first 30min and it didn't even measure any burned calories. It said zero calories burned and then the impact page was blank. So my question is why is my Fitbit going nuts and what can I do about it ? And by the way I'm not hitting any buttons or anything during my run.

When I've had these issues in the past doing these things helped me:
Before going out for a run:
1) I restart my phone
2) Turn off my wifi on my phone
3) Sync to Fitbit on my phone.
Then I go outside for my run. I've had really great luck since I've been doing this in the exact sequence. I had noticed in the past that when I'd get out of the wifi range of my house I'd have an issue. Other times maybe I was upstairs away from my phone and didn't sync before starting the run and it's like they weren't connected.
I hope this helps you. I've had 98% luck since I've been doing this.

I am not a jogger, but the same thing happens to me when I use the "hike" app. Yesterday, it stop recording before I got out of the parking lot, about 2 minutes into workout. This happens the majority of times. Actually I should praise it when it doesn't happen.

I'll be going up to Alaska on Friday, so Wi-fi won't be an issue, but I will try this. Thank you.
