I woke up and my Fitbit blaze was low on the battery so I put it on the charger and left it there all day! Came back to get it before I went to bed and saw that it still had no battery! What is going on with my Fitbit blaze! I don’t get it wet! Help me please it’s not been a year since I’ve bought it!

Accepted Solutions

I think it's a problem with the firmware LAST UPDATE to 17.8.402.1 and immediately after I installed it, the Battery Charge dropped from 2-3 days to only 2 hours. So it is always uncharged or on the charger. VERY disappointing.

I see a lot of reports of Battery Charge NOT holding, and most say they are switching products. If the UPDATE intentionally did this to boost sales like Apple did last year, it is a BAD decision. PLEASE correct this.

I agree but I have another one coming in the mail and we will see how long this one will last! I didn’t even have this one for a year yet and it went bad so let’s see how long this one will last like I said earlier!

Hi Liliya ... Still having the Battery Charge problem since the last update.

I posted another lengthy REPLY to your question about the Sync/Charge Method and Device, a few minutes ago before seeing your post here.

TWO other issues noted SINCE THE UPDATE ...

1 - The Blaze stopped recording Sleep Time as of the Update. I suspect this might be due to having to keep it on the charger all day and night so it is ready to wear when I need it.

2 - It also stopped displaying 'Recent Exercise' details as of April 30. No clue as to why.

It DOES continue to record steps, miles, floors, active minutes ... but will NOT display them in the 'Recent Exercise' tiles on the Dashboard. I may have UN-selected an option when frantically diagnosing the battery charging problem.

I know I TURNED OFF Real-Time Data Display in case that was draining the battery. Are the 'Recent Exercise' tiles part of the 'Real-Time' display?

Hi @Bit-Twiddler ! Thank you for your reply!

Thanks so much for taking the time to troubleshoot the battery issue and for sharing the details of the other issues with tracking sleep and showing  'Recent Exercise' details. If you've turned off the Heart Rate setting as one of the troubleshooting steps to conserve battery life, it may be the reason of the other issues you've started experiencing. If you've turned off real-time data tracking, it shouldn't affect the 'Recent Exercise' tile.

Since the issue persists, I'll send your case to our Support team so they can investigate further and provide a solution. You will receive an email from them soon.

I'll be around if you need further assistance. See you later! Robot Happy
