Fitbit not charging points appear worn down

I have had my fitbit Blaze for less than 2 years and it is now not charging there appears to be a problem with the charging points on the watch itself. At the moment it is unusable I'm looking for suggestions scanning through the forums it appears to be a fairly common problem.

We recommend that you occasionally:

• Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device to ensure they stay bronze or gold in color:
  1. Use a toothbrush with rubbing alcohol. Dry with a cloth or tissue before charging.
  2. Make sure not to scrape the contacts with anything metal, since metal can damage the plating and cause corrosion.
• Clean the pins on your charging cable:
  1. Clean the pins carefully with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol.
  2. Make sure that no pieces of the swab are left behind.

Note: Certain Fitbit devices have small holes for sensors such as the microphone or altimeter. Don’t insert any items, such as paper clips, into these holes as you can damage your device.

No theres something wrong with the pins I think i've tried cleaning them.
