Fitbit not tracking heart rate or sleep

I have searched the Internet high and low to determine what is wrong with my fitbit.  I have Charged, restarted, shut down, re-synched, etc. to try to get this thing working properly and I'm to the point of giving up.  I bought my fitbit almost a year ago through best buy and while it's always been a little undependable at times, I've worked through most kinks.  This time, I've had zero luck.  I noticed it stopped tracking my sleep patterns about a month ago, and last night I finally got around to doing some research.  I went to my app and noticed that my heart rate wasn't being tracked either.  I looked at the back of my fitbit and saw no green light activity.  The fitbit still tracks my steps and recognizes when I'm on the elliptical or climbing stairs. I did notice this morning (as I charged it overnight) because it was dark, that my green lights are flickering but they are so dim I couldn't see them if I wasn't it pitch black darkness. I don't know what else to do to fix this problem and I refuse to buy another one if they can't be any more reliable.

I can go back to my charge2 but I really like the style of my blaze and have spent a fortune buying alternate bands to match different outfits.  Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem?

Sometimes doing the restart 3 times in a row helps. Have you done that?

Other wise Contact support and see what your options are

I have restarted so many times....from the shut down function, to the restarting from my side buttons.  I will try it both ways 3 times and see if my lights turn on....but honestly, it shouldn't be this difficult.  This is ridiculous and I truly believe it's just gone haywire. I haven't had this thing a year yet and I'm fearful (based on everyone's comments in other threads) that it won't be replaced.  I can't afford to buy another one right now and I refuse to invest on an upgrade if they only last 6-8 months. These guys are expensive!

**Edited to add - And thank you for your reply.  I'll try anything at this point.  Will standing on my head, touching my nose work?

Update to add, restarted x 3 = nothing.  shutdown x 3 = nothing.  Re-synced, and again, nothing.  I contacted Support.  I will keep you guys posted.

Thanks again for trying to help.

Following. I have recently had these same issues and searched high and low. My lights are not dim but the blink pattern is shorter and it won't hold a charge for a whole day anymore. I could get about 4 days before these new issues. No heart rate or sleep log. I have also tried multiple resets as suggested. Still no luck.

They did message me back and after troubleshooting with no resolution, they asked where I purchased the fitbit and said they would check into my limited warranty.  The next day, my green lights were back on and my heart rate was being tracked.  Unfortunately, I've noticed it's not consistent and my lights are off again.  The fitbit recognizes my motion when I'm on the elliptical, but my average heart rate is displayed on my app (and watch).  My heart rate is truly around 140-150 when I'm working out so it's still not working properly.  I am going to have to contact them again, unfortunately.

Just an update.  Fitbit contacted me and said my watch was under warranty and gave me an option to buy something else with a 50% discount or get a replacement Blaze.  I opted for the replacement.
