Fitbit not tracking steps

Hi all

I’ve has my Blaze for 3 days and I noticed today it’s sporadically stopped tracking all my steps. I went to the supermarket and it didn’t track any of my steps! It springs back to life for a few minutes and then stops again. I’ve tried resetting it a couple of times but it isn’t making a difference. (Just checking that when you reset it still comes up with your day’s info? I want to make sure I’ve done it right!)

Any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks

A warm welcome to the Community @Hall284002.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. Can you please tell me which activity were you doing at the moment of noticing this discrepancy? Keep in mind that if you are pushing a shopping cart, your steps count won't be 100% accurate since the Blaze recognizes the steps based on arm movement.

If you are noticing discrepancies in other activities, I recommend checking your step count, then walk 100 steps and let me know how many the trackers recognized.

Hope to hear from you soon. Smiley Happy

When we owned Fitbit Ones until recently they tracked our steps wherever we went, even in Walmart and Sam’s. We often like to get our walking done in these stores. Our new Blaze and Charge2 will not track in these stores (whether we are pushing a cart or not). Help!

I am having the exact same problems. My Blaze will just stop counting steps and suddenly start again. On the other hand, my wife's Fitbit Alta never has this issue and she gets higher step counts on the same walks as me.
