Fitbit shows inaccurate results

I have been using Fitbit for more than one year.  Recently, I had a cardiac stress test in a leading hospital and I wore the Fitbit Blaze during the test.  The test lasted 15 minutes starting resting heartbeat of 67 bpm.  The treadmill speed and inclination were slowly raised to increase the heart rate.  I stayed above 135 for about 7 minutes.  My peak heart rate reached 166 and I stayed there for more than a minute.  After the test, I synced and checked the exercise stats.  According to Fitbit, my heart rate peak was 117 and I was above 110 for about 10 minutes.  Fitbit misses the actual readings so badly, I would consider it useless.  It seems to be a fancy watch.

For people, who might think I might not have worn correctly,  I assure it was worn correctly on my left wrist with proper contacts.

Hi @Guindian

Fitbit isn't a medical device and a stress test you're hooked up every possible way in a very monitored environment. It's a good enough indication for non-medical use. I tend to watch my heart rate and can tell looking at the results when I didn't feel as well as other days.

Hope all is well with you and you're still stepping.
