I have had my Fitbit for 18 months and now it shuts off and the only way I can get it to turn on is to put it in the charger and plug it in. It has to stay in the charger overnight or it will shut right off. I have tried doing a reset on it and also did a reset 3 times in a row. No luck, I am lucky if it stays on all day after charging all night. The battery is not dead when it shuts off though. It shows full charge when I plug it up. Someone even suggested that I hold it down in the charger so it turns on and then do a reset, did not work. Any suggestions or similar issues that were able to be resolved???

I am also having the same issue. I have tried to restart it by holding down the left button and lower right for 10 seconds and that is not working either. only turns back on for a few hours when it comes out of the charger

I would suggest calling the support number. I think this is a known issue that there are no fixes for and requires replacement. (877) 623-4997

Thanks, I called the support number and they said it would have to replaced. They said mine was a few months out of warranty so they could not help me, i would have to purchase a new one. But if there is a known problem I doubt if I will every purchase another Fitbit. Next time I will spend a few extra dollars and get something that lasts, like an Apple Watch!!!
