Hi there @Linky666555. Welcome to the Fitbit Community!
I'm sorry that your battery is draining very fast 😕 It sounds like your tracker might have died, so in this situation, I would like to create a case on your behalf for our technical support team to look into this issue and provide you with the available options. Keep an eye on your inbox!
Hope to see you back on track soon and anything else you may need, let me know! 🙂

My Blaze won't update. I have followed the directions perfectly. My Blaze battery is fully charged. Why is the problem, and why do I need to have an update anyway?

My tracker is working perfectly fine. It just will not update. I again ask, "Why do I need to update? Ithe seems more trouble than it's worth, at this point. " Will my watch stop working if I fail to update?

Very new fitbit owner and blazed won't charge. Cant even set up. Have restarted the fitbit, restarted the phone, deleted and reloaded the app. The app tells me the Fitbit needs updating before I can complete set up but the fitbit battery is too low. Have charged overnight and still no luck. Please advise if there is anything else I can do. Very frustrating as it was a gift for my husband.

Hi there @FJC. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂
You don't really 'need" an update for your tracker. If your Blaze is working fine and whenever you open up the Fitbit app you don't see a pink button saying that there is an app available on the Account section, you should be good to use the tracker and all will be working just fine.
Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need anything else!

Hey @mjjones! Good to see you in the Community as well! 🙂
I'm very sorry you're not having a good experience with your tracker. Whenever you put it to charge and you have not set it up, you will not see an indicator that says that it's charging, so just leaving it there to charge for about 1-2 hours will do. After that, open up the Fitbit app and go to the Account section at the bottom right corner. Tap on where it says "Set up a new device" and follow the on-screen instructions until you're able to set up your tracker. After that, it should all work fine.
If you're having problems setting it up, you can try to restart your tracker. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot and try to set it up again and see if it goes through this time.
Hope it works and let me know how it goes!
