Flashing green lights on back of Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The flashing green lights on the back of the Blaze now stay on continuously! They would go off a few seconds after I put the Blaze on my nightstand, but not any longer. They even flash when on my wrist!!

I've tried searching the site for suggestions as to what might be causing this but so far I have not had any success!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They're supposed to flash on your wrist since they are the heart rate monitor and that's how your heart rate is detected.

As a wild guess I'd suggest checking whether your HR monitor setting has ben changed from 'Auto' to 'On'.

Hi there @NASCARLady. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I totally agree with @MikeF. Look into your Blaze settings by swiping to the last screen and scroll down to Heart Rate and make sure that it's not set to "On" but to "Auto". This will ensure that the lights will flash only when you have the tracker on and when you leave it alone, they will not.

I'm having the same problem. I set the heart rate back to auto, but I still have continuously flashing green lights.

Hi there @SunsetRunner.  Great to see you in the Forums! 🙂

I would recommend giving your tracker a restart by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds.  This will make your tracker to reboot and after that, change the settings again from "Auto" to "On". Sync your tracker and then from "On" to "Auto" again. Sync it and see if this makes any difference.

Let me know how it goes!

When they wouldn't shut off after switching from "on" to "auto" I tried that but it didn't work. Then I shut it off again and when I turned it on they were off. I double checked to see if it was still on auto. It was. All is good. Thanks.

Got this same problem tried the solution above but did not help. As a result my battery is draining really fast, like every day.

any other suggestions?

@MuggsD, in addition to turning the HR off/on/auto, have you tried a restart of the tracker? I also suggest to shutdown tyr Blaze, this can be done right on the Blaze through the settings menu. Then press any button to turn it back on.

Yes I tried that as well and still got the issue.

I'm having a battery like issue because of the heart rate monitor issue.

With the heart rate monitor set to off battery lasted days. With it set to auto it lasts a day as the green lights just won't stop flashing.

Done everything in this thread multiple times.

I'm dealing with the same problem. None of these ideas fixed mine as well.

Same issue 100%. Tried troubleshooting several times with reboots to device and nothing changes. Little green lights just continue to blink and no heart rate reading or calorie burn stats but still measuring steps & distance accurately (I jog the same route weekly so I know its tracking that correctly).

Mike from London was exactly right about this fix!!! I didn't buy mine from a store but a private party and worried my watch was broken. But I took his advice and it worked immediately! Thank you for the question, thank you for the answer!!
