I am a professional IT person who also understands the need to keep fit and exercise due to the 8 hours or more a day I sit behind a screen. I have had a fitbit since the zip and until my wife got an Apple Watch I was somewhat content with the feature set. I now have a Fitbit Blaze and after seeing how helpful GPS is for my wife when running I decided to look into the Ionic. My biggest gripe with the Blaze is that the notifications and text are hard to read and if I don't have my glasses I cannot read them at all. My wife's Apple Watch allows for font size adjustment and so I figured Fitbit would see the need for this feature after seeing it posted as a request over a year ago. Well it's been over a year and no update, and no plans to solve this for the user base. So then I come to find that the Ionic does not have font size adjustment capabilities either. So something as simple as allowing resized fonts is so hard its worth losing customers? I'm going to retire my blaze and move to the Apple Watch unless you can tell me that this feature will be in Fitbit OS 2.0. I also doubt I will recommend a Fitbit to my friends since we are all getting older and our eyesight is not what it used to be.

Thanks a lot for bringing up this suggestion. At the moment, there are no news on if this feature will be implemented on the Ionic but there's also a feature suggestion for this. Now, it seems that it has already been reviewed by one of our moderators, so it will be matter of waiting to have any update on the status of this suggestion. You may see the suggestion here.

I’m 72 years old and have enjoyed my Fitbit blaze for two years.  I purchased an ionic for my wife and Fitbit trackers for 3 other family members.  Changing the font size and or color is a big deal for me.  Now that I know there are no plans to allow me to change the fonts on my Blaze, I will be forced to move to the Apple Watch rather than upgrading to the latest Fitbit Tracker
